Disability Awareness Day at a Glance!
- 8:00 to 9:30 VCDR will be serving coffee and pastries in the cafeteria. This is a great opportunity to connect with legislators.
- 9:30 to 4:00 Attend workshops to get updates and talking points from
VCDR members on current issues. - 12:00 Make an appointment to have lunch with your legislator.
Throughout the day observe a Senate or House Committee meetings. - 4:30 to 6:00 VCDR will be serving appetizers in the cafeteria.
Keynote and panel discussion about Moving Beyond the Barriers People with Disabilities Still Face 20 years after the Closing of Brandon Training School.
