Resources For Policymakers

As a critical part of its advocacy role, VCDR serves as a "go to" resource for policymakers seeking information about many disability-related issues, positions, and priorities. In addition, we seek to increase direct communication between legislators and constituents with disabilities and their families.

The topics within this section are not intended to be exhaustive, but represent a sampling of the issues with which VCDR is currently engaged through work in its own committees, advocacy in the legislature, or representation on variety administrative task forces, advisory groups, or committees.

Resources are intended as educational tools and thus will change over time, so please check back often. Want to know more? We welcome your inquires.
